Amazing Red card in the football history

We haven't found your Anglo-Italian amusement, Matt, yet we do realize that the British association record for red cards is five, which happened twice in 1997. As Dave Ede brings up, five players were sent off in the Second Division coordinate amongst Chesterfield and Plymouth on February 22 1997. "A Plymouth player was sent off for a two-footed test, and after that four players - including Kevin Davies for Chesterfield - were sent off after a mass fight in the last moment, incited by Bruce Grobbelaar putting on a show to have been harmed by the timid and resigning Darren Carr," he says. "At any rate that is the means by which I saw it."
