Lumbinī is a Buddhist journey site in the Rupandehi locale of Nepal.It is where Queen Mayadevi brought forth Gautam Buddha. Lumbini has various sanctuaries, including the Mayadevi sanctuary, and others. Additionally situated here is the Puskarini or Holy Pond where the Buddha's mom took the custom plunge preceding his introduction to the world and where he, as well, had his first shower, and also the remaining parts of Kapilavastu castle.
