The Nepalese Royal Massacre happened on 1 June 2001, at a house on the grounds of the Narayanhity Royal Palace, the habitation of the Nepalese government. Ten individuals from the family were killed amid a gathering or month to month get-together supper of the imperial family in the house. The dead included King Birendra of Nepal and Queen Aishwarya.
